Monday, July 31

smile, it's Monday!

Yesterday we sat outside, sipped club soda with a twist of lime (and ice) and relaxed. Well, Sabrina passed on the club soda but she was all for the relaxation.

We just got back in from the most fabulous walk we've had in a while. The past few days have been cooler; we like that. Tonight there was quite a strong wind off the lake [hence no bugs], the waves were crashing on shore and the sun was shining. There seemed to be very few people around and it was soooo enjoyable. Loved it.

I've got some sort of mistake [gasp] on my wrap cardi. I can't figure out if I dropped a stitch on the previous row or accidentally knit 2 together. I was watching Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares last night and obviously not minding my knitting. I need to go sort that out.

hmm - for some reason it's getting dark out. I guess the days are getting shorter; plus it's clouding over. But this is the first night I've noticed the daylight going so early. Yay - that means autumn is on its way!!

The days are getting shorter and yesterday we heard geese flying overhead, honking in unison. Autumn is definitely around the corner.

I hope you can fix the mistake in your wrap cardi.

Waaahhhh! I miss The Wolers! Biner reminds me so much of him.
I can't wait for that day I step out on the porch early in the morning, off to work, and *smell* Fall. That's my favourite day!
Mistake? You? Under the spell of Mr. Gordon, hmmm?

rip, rip, rip I couldn't figure out what I did and everything I tried to do to fix the ?? mistake didn't work. So I ripped it and have started over. It's okay - love the wool and it's mindless knitting.

Hi from Austria! I really love that pic of your dog, what a cutie she is! She really seems as if she needed - and enjoyed! - the relaxation!
I hope you'll be able to fix the mistake on your wrap cardi - but I'm sure you'll manage to do so, just let a bit of time pass by and then tackle that problem again, and you'll see, it'll be gone in an instant!

Hi from Moose Jaw! There don't seem to be many Saskatchewan knitters around - of course, I'm not going to be one either in another 2 weeks.... We never did make it up to Waskesiu during our 2 years here, but I hear it's beautiful.

Oh, LOOK how happy she is! No one can feel great in that horrible weather.
Ours just cooled off, about an hour ago. What a difference already! It will take a while to get upstairs, but it's worth the wait!
:)

When you announced that you were about to adopt, I knew in my heart that this would be one lucky dog. Look at that expression on Sabby's face. She knows I was right!
