Avast, me mateys!!

Arrgghh, the pirate hat, she be finished!

I finished it last night and tried to take a couple of shots of me modeling it, but it was late, I was cranky. I tried again today after work.

Unfortunately, after a particular crappy day at work I could manage neither my trademark smile, nor Cap'n Jack's pirate sneer.

"Your hat's on crooked."

Now for some macro fun (with the "new" camera!):

And in the life is tough category:

We went out for a nice long walk after supper, so I feel better about my shitty day. I think I might get my jammies on and go knit on the long-neglected wrap cardi.

During my break this afternoon, I was looking through the latest Ram Wools catalogue and they have such great stuff in there. They had some Garnstudio yarn and accompanying patterns and as I was reading the text, it says these patterns could be downloaded at Garnstudio's website. Here is the English page. If you mouse-over patterns, you can see the Drops archive where there's TONS of good stuff. I particularly liked the Shawl Collar Jacket and the Vivaldi Special Bolero from Book 91. [You can tell what book they're from by the pattern number in Ram's catalogue #55G9123 is Garnstudio Book 91, pattern 23.] Free stuff is good!

That's one awesome pirate hat!
and I love the photos of Sabrina from your new camera. Thanks for the link to the Garnstudio patterns too.
