what became of my nicely-made bed?!

I swear it was all pulled up, tucked in and pillows plumped.

Note the squeaky ball tucked under her armpit for safe-keeping.

She appears content, so that's all that matters!

Actual! Knitting! Content!!

The Regia 6--ply 2 x 2 scarf. Almost at the end of the second 50 g skein. I'm thinking a person could use a 150 g ball of 6-ply sock yarn and have enough for a great scarf - maybe a little wider than the 30 stitches and as long as you wanted. I really like how the 2 x 2 ribbing will be very cooshy when wrapping it around one's neck.

I will have to get a daylight pic of this - I couldn't get the yarn to show up in its true cinnamony/redwoody goodness. I've only just begun Starsky. While I was googling for Starsky knitters, I found Dave's blog. I know Dave from his Basketcase Socks pattern which is an awesome sock! And from Dave's blog I found the Starsky KAL group for reference in case I run into any problems; see other people's mods, etc. Cool.

In other online amblings, I found the tree sweater. Yeah, so I'm late to the party. [See reference above to just now starting to knit Starsky.] !!! I love it!

I noticed also Lisa and the pups are blogging again. Yay! There's been knitting and crocheting and kayaking and poochy smiles ... welcome back!

It was a cold, blustery rainy day here. After supper I took Sabrina out for a walk and she got to wear her new rain coat and it fits and works perfectly. Crowds of people stopped us and complimented her on it. Well, okay. ONE person did. Heh.

One more day of work (ugh) then the long weekend. Can't wait for 4 p.m. tomorrow. But for now, I knit.

Sabrina knows how to take life easy - and look cute while doing it.

The 2x2 scarf is lovely. what is the approx. width & length, using the two skeins (or did you already mention it and I missed it).

Happy long weekend!

Ha! I hadn't seen the treesweater thing, that is so cute and charming.

My lil bastards "help" me make the bed. They bounce on it and bite the corners of the mattress as I lift it up to tuck the corners in--so I end up lifting them higher and higher and jouncing it so they get to bed surf. You should see the tails whip around in happiness and the playbow type postures and tight little spins. Stupid dogs make me so happy.

Do you have a history of stealing Sabrina's squeaky ball that makes her so cautious? ;P

I'm liking the colour for your Starsky -- such a nice warm brown. It's gonna be beautiful!!
