Screener.co Offers Advanced Stock Trading Tools to the Masses
Screener.co is entering a closed beta today at the Launch Conference in San Francisco. This new service features advanced stock trading tools similar to many found on Google and Yahoo, but the site offers a broader range and more sophisticated tools then what's available on those sites.
The software tracks 48000 companies' financial information, with the goal being to match the level of information and tools that professional traders get from expensive services like Bloomberg. Screener.co is not designed to give stock advice, just to present the information and let the trader draw their own conclusions. At first brush the software appears highly technical with an overwhelming number of advanced studies and no tutorials in sight. The software will cost $24.95/mo, as opposed to the thousands of dollars that professional trading terminals can cost.
